As of last night it looks like American Airlines is finally going to do the right thing and accept US Airways' efforts to take it over. That's the best outcome for American financially, it's the most plausible outcome in terms of regulatory scrutiny, and it's the outcome American's unions have been pushing for. This is great news for those of us who have to fly out of American’s DFW hub to get to most places. No more working to rule by union members (rightly) trying to push management to do this. Thank you, Lord.
