Mustard Seed

In today's Gospel, Our Lord shares with us the Parable of the Mustard Seed.
“To what shall we compare the Kingdom of God, or what parable can we use for it? It is like a mustard seed that, when it is sown in the ground, is the smallest of all the seeds on the earth. But once it is sown, it springs up and becomes the largest of plants and puts forth large branches, so that the birds of the sky can dwell in its shade.”
-- Mark 4:30-32

Maybe everything feels impossible for you right now. Do something, do some tiny small thing, to let God plant that little mustard seed in your heart. Say a prayer. Do that one little task you've been meaning to do, and offer it up to God. It's okay to start small. But do get started. God can make something great from the smallest beginnings.
